Camila Sanchez Tejada is a Program Specialist for the Health team at Futures Without Violence. She coordinates projects for the NTTAP, Health Partners on IPV + Exploitation. Camila is responsible for planning and supporting national peer learning opportunities, including learning collaboratives, webinars, and written materials. She also provides support to initiatives that aim to serve Spanish speaking communities. Camila earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Francisco State University (SFSU). During her last semester at SFSU she was a recipient of the Willie L. Brown, Jr. Fellowship Award which allowed her to work with the Reentry Division of the San Francisco Adult Probation Department. Prior to Futures, Camila worked at The Women’s Building in San Francisco, where she provided direct services to immigrant communities and grew her passion to expand and improve community based programs.
