Description: 

Health Partners on IPV +Exploitation and National Center for Equitable Care for Elders (NCECE) are hosting a national webinar focused on the prevalence and health impact of intimate partner violence (IPV) in later life and elder abuse. The session will offer strategies to facilitate patient conversations, assessments, and response for IPV, and how to improve access to supportive community services.

As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the prevalence and health impact of elder abuse and IPV in later life.
  2. Explain the importance of improving access to supportive local services for community-dwelling older adults.
  3. Utilize patient engagement strategies to better identify elder abuse and IPV in later life.
