Economic and Health Needs of Survivors of Human Trafficking

Description: In recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month in January, two projects from Futures Without Violence, Health Partners on IPV +Exploitation and the Center for Economic Futures, are hosting an online training focused on the health and well-being of human trafficking survivors. The webinar will explore how to address their economic and employment needs, including mental health and primary care needs, with a lens on health center strategies.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of this training, participants will be able to:
 
  1. Describe the economic and employment needs of trafficking survivors and their connection to safety and security.
  2. Identify two strategies that health centers can implement to create employment pathways for survivors.
  3. Define the mental health needs of trafficking survivors and how health centers and their partners can address them.
