Health Partners on IPV +Exploitation, a project of Futures Without Violence, and Fenway Health are hosting a webinar that will bring sites together to learn about HIV prevention as a safety planning tool, addressing common misconceptions regarding HIV prevention medication, working to improve usage of HIV prevention medication, and engaging in safety planning opportunities on the usage of HIV prevention medication as part of a comprehensive HIV prevention plan.
This webinar will bring sites together to learn about pre-exposure HIV prevention as a safety planning tool, addressing common misconceptions regarding prevention and working to destigmatize prevention, and engaging in safety planning opportunities to empower the usage of HIV prevention as part of a comprehensive HIV prevention plan through discussing the different ways HIV prevention medication can be taken based on patients’ needs. This webinar will offer guidance on the intersections of intimate partner violence and HIV through addressing safety planning opportunities for the usage of HIV prevention medication.
