This year The National Conference on Domestic Violence will bring together 700+ individuals from across the world for three days of discussion, presentations, learning, community, and fun. This conference is designed for:
– Survivors who openly share lived experiences to help de-stigmatize intimate partner violence and relationship abuse;
– Advocates and allies working to shift power back to survivors; and,
– Community and corporate leaders dedicated to creating healthy relationships for all.
Health Partners on IPV + Exploitation in partnership with The National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence will present the following session:
Health Advocacy: What DV Programs Can Do to Promote Survivor Health and Wellbeing
This session will focus on equipping advocates with tools and resources to help survivors of violence access health care and promote their wellbeing, with an emphasis on the importance of partnerships between health centers and domestic violence programs.
