The Annual Conference on Adolescent Health brings together an interdisciplinary community of health care professionals to share research and best practices aimed at improving adolescent-centered care. Each year, the event hosts over 450 attendees from nearly all 50 states and a growing international community.
This year, Health Partners on IPV + Exploitation and The School Based Health Alliance staff will present the following session on Tuesday, May 7, 2024:
School-Based & Community Health – Strengthening Prevention of Adolescent Relationship Abuse in School-Based Health Centers
This session will focus on equipping school-based health center providers to promote healthy relationships and support adolescent patients experiencing abuse and human trafficking. In addition to learning about clinical approaches, participants will identify strategies for partnering with youth, schools, and community-based organizations to strengthen their prevention and response efforts.
